This game was made as a submission for the Mini Jam 36 themed Nature.
The game's art has only 3 colours as per the limitation by the jam. The colours I used were inspired by the classic GameBoy colour palette. and it turned out better than I had hoped.
Beachhead 2020 for mac osx. The game was not made with any particular forest in mind.
(So many forests have burned after this game was released that this joke doesn't make sense anymore.)
1.3 update:
We have had enough forest fires getting out of control that's why you can now actually win in this game and Save The Forest.
With the all new Normal mode (the old highscore mode is now called Arcade mode) where if you keep the forest alive for more than 4 minutes help will arrive.
I also added new music by 5pr1n6.

If you're curious my top score was something like 4500 (and I made the frigging game) so you actually did very well.
Perhaps if I did it a few more times I'll be able to reach that score too Hahaha.
